Privacy policy

This policy describes what happens to information when you visit petfishoilguide.com. It reflects how the site works today. Last updated October 14, 2026.

What we collect

The site does not set its own cookies, does not run analytics, advertising or social media scripts, and has no accounts, comments, newsletters or forms. We do not ask you for personal information. The fonts and icons are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font or icon service.

Server and network logs

Our web host records standard server logs for each request: IP address, time, page requested, referring page and browser user agent. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which also processes this request data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks and abusive traffic. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Links to Amazon

PetFishOilGuide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link, you leave this site. Amazon and its partners may set cookies and collect data on Amazon's site under their own policies; see the Amazon Privacy Notice. The link carries our affiliate tracking ID so that Amazon can credit qualifying purchases to this site. Amazon reports totals to us. We do not receive your name, address, account details or what else you bought.

Links to manufacturers and sources

Product cards and articles link to manufacturer websites and to published research. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your choices

Children

This site is written for adult pet owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights, including US state privacy laws

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another US state with a privacy law), you may have the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and apart from the server and network logs described above we do not hold any. You can still send a request and we will answer it.

If this changes

If we add analytics, advertising or any other tracking, we will update this page before it goes live and say what is collected and why.
